For men, shoes show the style; it reflects the social status, sense of style and personality of men. That's why; men's shoes are one of the most pride possessions amongst other things in the fashion wardrobe. There are a variety of men's shoes available, each type are different in style, and reflects the mood of individuals wearing them.
Although men's shoes include various types of shoes meant specifically for men, like casual shoes (leather or non-leather), sandals, boots etc, but, men's dress shoes occupy the most important category amongst them. The casual trendy shoes are definitely fashionable, but the can be used in limited occasions and periods only. Whereas, the dress shoes not only reflect classic style, and allow more versatility, as it can be worn with most of the shirts, pants and t-shirts.
Men's dress shoes are characterized by smooth leather uppers, leather soles and narrow, sleek shape. There are 2 main categories of men's shoes- 1) lace-ups, &, 2) slip-ons. The lace-up shoes are further classified as- Balmorals (in England , known as OXFORD ) & Bluchers (in England , known as DERBY SHOE): the major difference lying at the lace area. Balmorals lace area is a v-shaped slit to which the laces are attached. Bluchers laces attached to 2 pieces of leathers which are separately attached to the vamp of the shoe. The slip-ons are considered more casual than lace-ups among the men's shoes. Proper caring of men's shoes is must for long lasting and maintaining stylish outlook.
